Welcome to Maxhaven Kennels....
We are a small kennel located in Pittsville, Wisconsin.
Pittsville is located in the geographic center of the state. We raise only American Kennel Club (AKC) Siberian Huskies. We
have been inspected and approved by the AKC since 1995. We also hold a kennel license with our town board.
Deana started raising Siberian Huskies in 1995. Sir Max of Thiel was her first husky and the kennel is named after him. Pogo is Max's
Son. The Kennel has seen many changes in the past couple of years. We got married the summer of 2009, we became a Limit
Liability Company (LLC) and we relocated our kennel and built a Whelping building complete with heat and air conditioning.
The State of Wisconsin now requires all
kennels that sell more than 25 dogs or puppies a year to be inspected and licensed with the Department of Agriculture. We were the 1st kennel inspected in the State and the State inspectors trained
at our kennel. Our license number is 268596-DS
All of our adults and puppies are well socialized. Our children have been raised around the Huskies, and they
all help with chores. They also spend a lot of time playing with the puppies.
